Removal from
Postal Mailing Lists

How to be removed from mailing lists:

If your love for direct mail doesn't match ours, we can still help. The Direct Marketing Association's Mail Preference Service (MPS) is designed to help consumers decrease the amount of nationally generated commercial or nonprofit mail they receive at home. You can click here for this service. Also, if you would like to be taken off of telemarketers' calling lists, you can visit www.donotcall.gov.

How to get ONLY the mail you choose:

While at Mail I Choose we help you get the mail you want, but we can't stop the thousands of other mailers from filling up your mailbox with unwanted mail. But taken one step further, we will help reduce your postal mail to virtually ONLY the mail you choose. Here's how:

  1. Take the Mail I Choose survey and, when asked "Will you opt out of direct mail through the Direct Marketing Association's Mailing Preference Service?", click Yes.
  2. When asked "Although you will opt out of direct mail, would you still like to receive offers from Mail I Choose partners that only target your interests?", click Yes.
  3. After finishing the survey, go here, and follow the DMA instructions. All reputable direct mail companies will suppress these records from their prospect files before mailing, meaning less unwanted postal mail.
  4. Sit back and notice your mailbox transform from clutter to streamlined, with offers for products and services that you asked for! It's a win-win situation for you and the companies mailing to you.
